Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chairman Jeong Eui-sun has been named Industry Leader of the Year by US-based Automotive News Media for his unwavering vision to develop smarter and more sustainable mobility solutions.
Automotive News All-Stars is a prestigious award with a 40-year history. Chong received the title this year for his contributions to the development of the automotive and technology industries.

Chung became president of Kia Motors, a small affiliate of Hyundai Motors, in 2005 and was promoted to vice chairman of Hyundai Motors in 2009. The following year, he assumed the highest role as executive chairman of Hyundai Motor Group.
