Toby Keith continues to be remembered by the country music community after his death at the age of 62.

The songwriter played his first official headlining show since revealing his cancer diagnosis at Park MGM in Las Vegas in December 2023, but it was one of his last performances. In a video shared to YouTube announcing the show, he described it as “a kind of rehabilitation show” that “gets the band back in sync and reinvigorated.”
“With COVID and cancer, the old devil has been chasing me a little bit,” Keith added. “Now that we've got him, we're going to try and get the band back together instead of just sitting around waiting.”
