The Fourth of July has come and gone, but luckily for us, photos from Michael Rubin's annual White Party continue to flood Instagram. Every year, the Fanatics CEO and former co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers hosts an extravagant soiree in the Hamptons with a guest list that would make Anna Wintour tremble. This year, however, the Kardashian-favorite event has become even more exclusive, according to The New York Times. TimesThe guest list, overseen in part by Rubin's fiance, the model Camille Fishel, was trimmed down to 400 paparazzi-friendly celebrities, athletes, and influencers, with 300 of those VIPs receiving custom lithograph invitations designed by visual artist George Condo. It was a casual affair, so to speak.
Among this year's A-list guests were Tom Brady, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Drake, and Emily Ratajkowski. Dressed in white gowns and bodycon dresses, guests mingled at the two-acre, 8,000-square-foot Water Mill estate and were serenaded by Shabuzzi, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Wayne. After fireworks were reportedly set off from a floating barge, Glory La, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Ferg, Alesso, and Travis Scott continued the surprise musical performances on a tennis court that looked just like Live Miami.
according to Timesand each guest received a pair of personalized Low-color Air Jordan 1s as part of an exclusive White Party collaboration between Nike and Scott. According to Ruben and Fishel's rep, several people who didn't get an invitation offered $1 million to RSVP, and at least one offered $5 million. But unfortunately for these billionaires, money can't buy you into the White Party, where glamour, beauty and influence reign supreme. The effortlessly wealthy and attractive who got in munched on melty Nobu tarts, margherita pizzas at Lucali and meatballs from East Harlem restaurant Rao's. Good luck to them, and to the dry cleaners who had to scrub the celebrity self-tanner from leftover White Party outfits.
