Former MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment executive to lead West Coast operations

PureStar, North America's largest provider of laundry services and linen management to the hospitality industry, has announced the appointment of Alex Dixon as Western Regional President, overseeing the company's West Coast operations and service lines.

Dixon is a Nevada native and third generation hospitality worker with in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, service lines and the Southern Nevada community. Having previously served in various roles with leading hospitality companies including Caesars Entertainment Corporation and MGM Resorts International, most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer of Circus Circus Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Dixon brings a unique perspective as a former PureStar customer.

Mr. Dixon is also an avid philanthropist and has served in numerous community leadership roles, including currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as Treasurer for Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas, President of the Las Vegas Urban League of Young Professionals and was appointed by the Clark County Commission to serve as a member of the Community Priorities Committee. Mr. Dixon also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Howard University in 2003.
