Following a successful career as a director of Gun Rural Management (GRM) and live exporter Austrex, Mr Crombie chaired the steering committee that shaped the establishment of the Australian Meat Standards Tenderness Guarantee Scheme, served as president of the Australian Meat and Livestock Association for six years and was also president of the National Farmers Federation. In all capacities he established himself as an industry leader, ready to engage with grassroots producers across the country.
He now spends his time on a small farm near Warwick and is an avid competitor in cattle carcass competitions.
