A woman found and detained in a restricted area of a SpaceX facility in Texas has claimed to be the wife of company CEO Elon Musk.
Sheriff's deputies found Sue Young Boudreau, 41, in a restricted area of the SpaceX Industries complex in the Brownsville area on Tuesday and took her into custody. The sheriff's office said in a press release that they were called in connection with a “trespassing.”
“Upon arrival, deputies contacted SpaceX security staff and received a statement,” the statement said. “According to a security guard, a woman was spotted wandering around an ‘employee-only’ building and when asked to identify herself, she claimed to be ‘Elon Musk’s wife.’ That is.”
The investigation revealed that Boudreau “is no longer affiliated with SpaceX Industries, and we have obtained surveillance footage that corroborates our initial statements and confirms that she is not Elon Musk's wife.” the statement states.
Apparently, this wasn't the first time Boudreau had tried to make himself known.
“Following further investigation, a report was filed on September 25, 2023, and Mr. Boudreau was warned by CCSO deputies to stay away from SpaceX property,” the statement said. “Ms. Beaudreau insisted she go home to her husband (Mr. Musk).''
Mr. Boudreau was charged with trespassing.
