Vladimir Nekrasov passes away at the age of 66.

Vladimir Nekrasov, chairman of Russian oil giant Lukoil, has died of acute heart failure at the age of 66, the company confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.
“It is with great regret that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Vladimir Ivanovich Nekrasov. According to the preliminary conclusions of the doctors, death was the result of acute heart failure,” a statement published on the website said. It is stated here.
Who is Vladimir Nekrasov?
Vladimir Nekrasov held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lukoil. He took over this role following the untimely death of Rabil Maganov, who fell from a window at the Moscow Central Clinical Hospital last September. At the time of Maganov's death, Nekrasov was Lukoil's vice president.
Throughout his career, Vladimir Nekrasov received numerous accolades and recognitions, including the 4th rank of the Order of Merit of the Fatherland. He also received the honor from former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
Last year, Lukoil took a public stance against the Russian government's operations in Ukraine. In a statement shared on March 3, 2022, the company called for “the earliest possible end to the armed conflict” through negotiations.
“The Lukoil Board of Directors hereby expresses its deep concern about the tragic events in Ukraine. We call for an early end to the armed conflict and express our deepest sympathies with all the victims affected by this tragedy. “We strongly support a lasting incident, a ceasefire and resolving the issue through serious negotiations and diplomacy,” the company said.
