After President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump spent last weekend campaigning in Georgia ahead of Tuesday's Georgia primary, the rest of the week was very different for both candidates.
But the president faced relatively few supporters, much less undecided voters. His speeches attracted hundreds rather than thousands, and the invitation-only events were aimed primarily at local officials loyal and friendly to the party.
Advisers say the president's top priority is to excite Democrats and allay concerns about his decision to run. The Biden campaign plans to significantly expand its brick-and-mortar presence in battleground states this month, with stops expected in Nevada and Arizona next week.

In a separate hush-money case against Trump in New York, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said it was willing to delay the trial for up to 30 days, according to court filings. The trial is currently scheduled to begin on March 25th.
