Watkins finished the game with 833 total points. Her total of 833 points ranked her third in NCAA history in scoring among freshmen behind Ohio State's Kelsey Mitchell (873) and San Diego State's Tina Hutchinson (898).

She is one of the greatest players not only in USC women's basketball history, but women's basketball as a whole. Miller was a two-time national champion while with the Trojans, as well as a three-time Naismith Player of the Year (1984-1986). She has one of the most impressive resumes of any woman to ever play this sport.
Watkins has already achieved impressive results this season, scoring 51 points against Stanford on February 2nd. She scored 51 of the Trojans' 67 total points that night, setting USC's single-game scoring record in the process.
