Frankie Muniz surprised fans on Monday night's episode of “I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” Australia.
The Malcolm in the Middle star left his campmates in shock after making a surprising confession on the second day of his mission in the African jungle.
Despite his fondness for ketchup, the 38-year-old revealed at Base Camp that he's “never eaten a tomato in my life.”
Celebrities appearing on the show listened in amazement as he revealed that he had never sampled a single lone strawberry.
Muniz's candid revelation immediately set social media ablaze.
“He hasn't eaten any tomatoes or strawberries!!!!!!!!!!!!” He certainly looks like a bit of an oddball,” he wrote to viewers.
“There's no way Malcolm in the middle has never eaten a tomato or strawberry since he was born???” Another commented.
Another viewer commented: “Wow Frankie really has a childlike talent.”
“Frankie really represents the likes and dislikes in all of us lol,” another posted.
While enjoying a meal prepared by campmate Cain Ong, Muniz revealed that he was blown away when he tasted tomatoes for the first time.
The former child star appeared on I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Australia on Sunday.
He admitted to the Daily Telegraph that he was asked to appear on several seasons of the show before finally agreeing.
“To be honest, I didn't really know what it was because schedules conflicted and the show didn't air in the United States all the time,” he said.
The star has put aside his career, especially in Hollywood, to focus on driving race cars and was also the drummer for a band called You Hang Up for a short period from 2012 to 2014.
