After the show aired on Channel 4 earlier this month, Ms Hammond was targeted online with cruel messages. She noticed she was tagged in her vile post and urged her poster to keep her “nasty comments” private.
“Why would someone who doesn't know Adam write such a horrible message when I'm having a great day,” Hammond wrote on Twitter/X, calling her “a truly terrible piece of work.” referring to a commentator who called it
“Don't keep your mean comments to yourself #bekind always,” she added.
In the aftermath of the online incident, fans flooded Mr Hammond's comments section to express support, with several praising him.
