Colorado Secretary of State Jenna Griswold announced the certification of the 2024 presidential primary, making the election results official and final. The certification was made after each county's bipartisan canvassing committee submitted formal voting summaries to the Secretary of State's Office.
“The 2024 presidential primary was one of the most accessible elections in Colorado's history. I am proud of our state's elections and the voting rights we have added over the past five years.” said Secretary Griswold. “I commend the hard work and dedication of county election administrators, election workers, and Department of State employees in delivering great elections for Colorado voters.”
After the election, the Secretary of State's Office worked with Colorado's county clerks to complete a bipartisan risk-limiting audit verifying the election results. After the audit, each county's bipartisan canvassing committee certified the election results. The canvassing committee then submitted the final results to the Secretary of State's Office.
