The 2024 Westtex Paracon event will be held in Ballinger over two days, featuring celebrities and paranormal talks.
The event will be held April 12 and April 13 at Ballinger's Old Town Old Times venue, as well as the circa 1886 Old Park Hotel and 1925 Old Runnels Jail building.
Famous names from film and television will also appear, including Chad Lindbergh, who played Jesse in the original “Fast and Furious” movie alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
“He wants to say hello and meet everyone who comes out,” said Dan LaFave, owner of the Old Park Hotel.

Heather Taddy, best known for her work as an investigator and documentarian on the A&E series “Paranormal State,” will also be in attendance.
Celebrities will lead ghost hunts in the two buildings mentioned above.

There will also be several speaking guests who will discuss and present on paranormal topics.
“We also have some great vendors, like the Real West Texas Ghostbusters, who come to Paracon for photos on Saturday, and the Concho Cowboy Company, which does stories and reenactments of Wild West gunfights,” LaFave said. Ta.
A special steak dinner meet and greet will be held on Fridays.
“Events like this within the San Angelo area aren't always held in places where people can come and see great celebrities and speakers,” LaFave said. “Our aim is to have fun and we hope many families will come along for something a little different for the area.”
General admission is free for children 12 and under. General admission for children ages 13-16 is $10. General admission for an adult girlfriend's day pass is $18, and a two-day general admission pass is $30.
