Hollywood celebrities, from Oscar winners to reality TV stars, shared their eclipse experiences on social media.
A total solar eclipse, in which the sun is completely blocked by the moon, was visible in 13 states for various hours on Monday and made headlines around the world.

“Pray for a solar eclipse and the world can be reset to peace!” she captioned the post.
bethenny frankel
former real housewives of new york The star shared a photo to her Instagram Story of herself eating popcorn while wearing eclipse glasses on a rooftop in the Big Apple.
Frankel had a “Girl Power” graphic superimposed on the lens.

The TV host and his wife were in Chicago when he accidentally looked up at the sun, which can be very dangerous, but quickly looked away and laughed at his gaffe.

Witherspoon, another Oscar winner on the list, posted to her Stories wearing a fluffy blue robe and eclipse glasses.
“I'm ready,” she wrote.
In another slide, she unfolds her robe to reveal a blue swimsuit while lying on her back on a sun lounger, adding: “Yes, I saw it.”

Brittany further shared a video of her family observing the eclipse on her Story, noting that her 18-year-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, wasn't too keen on the eclipse and instead used a broom. He revealed that he chose to play with.
She also revealed that her family had kept their pet dog inside the house to protect her eyes because she “doesn't wear glasses,” and that Starling Sky was standing in front of Starling Sky looking up at the sun without glasses. It also showed Mahomes playing the role of a protective father.

The TV star bucked the trend of posing with eclipse glasses and instead opted to take a photo of the eclipse for her Instagram Stories.
“Is it still there?” she asked her 3.4 million followers.

The Bravo host took her 5-year-old son Ben to a New York City rooftop to witness the unusual event.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity for good lighting, the singer stepped outside in a swimsuit for an impromptu photo shoot.
“I used eclipse lighting,” she wrote in the video.

The heiress posted a photo of herself standing outside a playground with her two daughters, Lily-Grace, 7, and Teddy, 6.
“A little solar eclipse experience after school,” she wrote.
