Prime Hydration, LLC is the company behind the Prime line of sports drinks, drink mixes, and energy drinks. Logan Paul and his KSI, two famous YouTubers and internet celebrities, founded and promoted this series.
Following the 2022 announcements and product launches, these social media influencers (who collectively have tens of millions of followers) created a lot of buzz on social media. It was also promoted through sponsorship deals with famous sports.
Energy drinks, sports drinks, and drink mixes containing varying amounts of caffeine, electrolytes, additional micronutrients, and unnecessary sugars are all produced by Prime Hydration. Prime energy drink has come under fire for its high caffeine content, as well as its marketing strategy, which has been criticized for attracting attention to children and teens.
This drink is prohibited or restricted in many countries, jurisdictions, and primary and secondary schools because it contains caffeine levels that exceed permitted levels or is considered harmful to minors.

Prime Hydration, LLC is affiliated with Congo Brands, which is co-owned by American businessmen Trey Steiger and Max Clemons. The product originally comes from the US, was introduced in the UK in June 2022 and is now manufactured by Refresco. Energy drinks, sports drinks, and beverage combinations all bear the Prime name. The sports drink, which contains electrolytes, B vitamins, and BCAAs, is made up of 10% coconut water and is referred to by the manufacturer as a “hydration drink.”
According to the producers, each bottle of this product has about 20 calories and has no added caffeine or sugar. Like many other sugar-free beverages, it is flavored with sucralose and acesulfame sodium.
