Dear McNeese Community,
The Presidential Search Committee met last week to review applicants and select semifinalists to bring to campus. The four semi-finalists are:
- Andy Benoit Jr., Texas A&M University Vice President for Enrollment Management
- Shadow Robinson, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of Arkansas
- Wade Ruth, Executive Vice President, McNeese State University
- Allen Vital, Chief of Staff, Southern University System Office of the President
The Committee needs your assistance in the next steps of the search process. Each candidate will be on campus on April 16 to meet with faculty, staff, students, alumni and community leaders before search committee interviews the next day. We hope that you will attend these meetings as your schedule allows so that we can understand how these candidates will lead Mr. McNeese and submit comments to inform the committee. After all semi-finalists have been interviewed, a search committee will meet on Wednesday, April 17th at 5pm to select the finalists. These final candidates will be invited to Baton Rouge on April 25th for an interview with the entire University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors. The board will select McNeese's next president at that meeting.
