Dua Lipa, America Ferrera, Taraji P. Henson and Elliot Page led the list of big name celebrities on the Time 100 list.
Time magazine released its annual list of the world's 100 most influential people on Wednesday.
Dua and Taraji were also two of the stars featured on the special edition's cover, along with NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes and Russian opposition leader Yulia Navalnaya.
Dua's song was written by American singer-songwriter Patti Smith, and Taraji's song was written by Mary J. Blige, so each song on the list has its own compliment.
“America’s” was written by Blake Lively, and the trio includes Oscar-winner Davine Joy Randolph (written by Uzo Aduba), Michael J. Fox (written by Ryan Reynolds), and Kylie Minogue (written by Chris). Martin), Jeffrey, and other celebrities participated. In the magazine's pages, Dua opened up about her move into acting last year, appearing in Barbie and Argyle.
The 28-year-old Albanian singer played the role of mermaid Barbie in the 2023 hit Barbie movie and sang “Dance the Night.”
In Argyle, she had a cameo role as Lagrange, playing the role of Argyle's lover played by Henry Cavill.
She told Time magazine that she calls these two her “little baby roles.”
“I loved being on set,” said the singer-turned-actress. She said, “I love the idea of embodying another character and giving them a challenge.”
“I also love when I go to photo shoots. I can completely change my look,” she said. “It gives me a different personality.”
Regarding her role in the Barbie movie, she added, “I really enjoyed being in the movie because it was so exciting to be a part of something so special with such an amazing cast.”
