Philadelphia – “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?'' Fans are excited because a new spin-off has arrived on Prime Video and three-time Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce has been confirmed as host.
Prime Video has announced that Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce will host a new spin-off show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
The streaming service announced the news on Tuesday in an Instagram post with the caption, “The man with the answers. Travis Kelce hosts. Are you smarter than a celebrity?” Coming soon to Prime Video.
Kelce will host the 20-episode series
Each episode will feature an adult contestant who will answer 11 questions on various topics taken from the elementary school curriculum in a classroom full of celebrities to win $100,000 in prize money, Amazon said.
Kelce is no stranger to hosting. The multi-talented celebrity launched the top-charting sports podcast New Heights in September 2022 with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce, a former Super Bowl champion with the Philadelphia Eagles.
In March 2023, Kelce took the stage as the host of “Saturday Night Live,” and during the 2023 NFL Draft, he hosted his first sold-out music festival, “Kelsy Jam,” with over 10,000 attendees. It attracted over 7,000 participants.
“I grew up loving game shows, so I'm excited to follow in the footsteps of so many television icons by hosting my first show, 'Are you Smarter than a Celebrity?'” Kelsey said in a statement. “The original show has been a huge success, so bringing everyone's favorite celebrities to the screen and bringing a new format is definitely going to be interesting. I'm excited to be the host side of the equation here. I'm very happy and can't wait to see how these shows go.'' The famous faces follow. ”
The original U.S. version of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” first aired in 2007 to a record-breaking 27 million viewers, with over 800 million total viewers during its run, and a TV It remains the top game show premiere in broadcast history.
The series is produced by MGM Alternative, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, and will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
No timeline has yet been announced for when the spin-off will be released.
