Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that if he loses presidential privileges, “crooked” President Biden will no longer have immunity.
Trump's argument hinges on his belief that presidential immunity is fundamental to the function of the presidency.
“Without presidential immunity, it would be impossible for the president to function properly and would forever put the United States of America in great danger!” he exclaimed in a post on Truth Social.
“If they take away my presidential privileges, they're taking away the distorted Joe Biden's presidential privileges,” he warned. And without immunity, the presidency would “lose power and prestige, and under some leaders no power at all.”

Trump has maintained his innocence and invoked presidential immunity in his own defense.
President Trump says if immunity disappears, 'that's the end of his presidency'
“The Presidency will be occupied by another branch of government. That's not what our Founders wanted!” Trump expressed.
He said, “It is possible for the opposition to blackmail and blackmail the president during his term of office by saying, “If you don't give us everything we want, we will indict you for what you did while you were president.'' There are concerns that there is a Even if everything that was done was completely legal and proper. ”
“It will be the end of the presidency and the end of our country as we know it,” he declared. “That's just one of many possible traps for a president without executive privilege.”
“Obama, Bush, and soon Crooked Joe Biden are all going to be in big trouble,” Trump said, referring to former presidents.
He argued that “if the president does not have immunity, he will be merely a 'ceremonial' president with little courage to do what needs to be done for our country.”
“Let’s make America great again!”
