Add Kelly Oubre vs. Celebrity as another matchup to watch in the first round of the Knicks vs. 76ers playoff series.
The 76ers forward cheered Friday on Madison Square Garden's vaunted Celebrity Row before Game 1 at the arena on Saturday.
“They're going to give that $100,000 to celebrities.” [worth of] It's a free ticket for people who don't care about the game and just want to be there,'' Oubre said. “That's what they do.”
Oubre has a point.

The Knicks were trailing by a wide margin, and both players were ejected before the Knicks could mount a strong comeback.
The Rangers and Knicks both play at Madison Square Garden and are owned by James Dolan.
Still, there are many loyal Celebrity Knicks fans who regularly attend games and watch on Celebrity Row. And they weren't excited about Oubre.

Actor Jerry Ferrara, known for his starring role in the movie “Entourage,'' posted on “X'' “Ah, this person has a misunderstanding, haha.'' career. '”
Ferrara added in another post: “When the team is bad, we show up and say it out loud. I can't imagine that many people showed up during the process.”
Oubre's comments were certainly not the first questionable statements to come out of Philadelphia.
Backup center Paul Reed said on the Run It Back podcast earlier this week that the 76ers “obviously wanted to play the Knicks.” It's an easier team. ”
By winning Wednesday's play-in game against the Heat, the 76ers earned a matchup with the Knicks instead of the Celtics.
The Knicks are refraining from trash talking before the series begins.
Celebrities are doing it for them.
“To the Sixers players: Please keep doing interviews and speaking your mind,” Ferrara posted. “We all know you have an extensive history in the playoffs over the last 10 years. … This is fun! I usually want to win at all costs. But the Sixers' role players squawking in silly ways will add to the series.
