Travis Kelce had a busy NFL offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Super Bowl LVIII-winning tight end is the host of a new game show called “Are You Smarter than a Celebrity?” The streaming service Prime Video was announced on Tuesday. Filming for the 20-episode season has already been completed.
The premise is a twist on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?,” which first aired on Fox in 2007 and was hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. It was also broadcast in syndication. John Cena hosted Nickelodeon's 2019 revival.
On Kelsey's show, adult contestants are given 11 entry-level questions that they can seek answers from in a classroom of various celebrities. The final question is from her 6th grade curriculum and the prize is her $100,000. She is the only celebrity who can discuss the answer to the final question with the contestants.
Kelsea, who is dating music superstar Taylor Swift, said in a statement that she grew up watching game shows and is “excited to follow in the footsteps of so many television icons.” .
This isn't Kelce's first TV appearance. He appeared on his own dating competition show, E!, in 2016. He hosted an episode of “Saturday Night Live” last year called “Catching Kelce.”
