The first round of voting for the presidential election ended on Wednesday, with 99% of the votes counted, and according to the State Election Commission, Silyanovska-Davkova won 40% of the vote, followed by Pendarovsky with 19%. It became the rank.

Mr. Pendarovskiy and the SDSM are prepared to submit amendments, but they lack the numbers to win a parliamentary vote.

Siljanovska Davkova and the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party argue that constitutional changes can only be made after North Macedonia joins the EU, but the government says that position is unrealistic.
