The Southern Arkansas University President Search Committee is pleased to announce that, after a thorough and rigorous search process, two candidates have emerged as finalists for the position of University President. Finalists Dr. Bruno Hicks and Dr. Philip Wilson bring a wealth of experience, expertise, and a shared commitment to advancing her SAU mission and vision.
“The selection of finalists is an important milestone in the search for SAU's next president,” said Monty Harrington, chair of the presidential search committee. “Future campus visits will be a unique opportunity for these individuals to share their vision for SAU's future.”
Finalists will interact with a variety of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and community members, during campus visits that include public forums and interviews. These opportunities allow the SAU community to interact with candidates and provide valuable feedback to the Presidential Search Committee.
