Buffalo Ghostbusters confirmed that actor John Rothman, who played the library manager in the original, was among those in attendance. Ghost Busters made a surprise cameo appearance in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. It was also announced that Joe Cirillo, who is in his third year as the event's headliner, will be performing as a guest. Cirillo played a police chief in the 1984 film, which featured a scene in which a containment unit was shut down. Both will meet fans and sign autographs and are priced at $30 each.
Other guests included the award-winning Alessi Brothers, who performed some unforgettable songs. “Save the day.” was featured. Ghost Busters On the soundtrack, the song is best remembered as the backing anthem in the film's third act, when New York City rallies behind the khaki-clad heroes.

As in previous years, philanthropy is the driving force behind the event, and efforts will be directed towards the Tunnel to the Towers Foundation. Established in honor of New York City Fire Department firefighter Stephen Schiller, who was killed in the September 11 attacks, the foundation supports the families, first responders, and veterans of the September 11 attacks.
