Now that the uncontested primary process is over, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have exchanged arguments, aired hundreds of millions of campaign ads, and decided who will lead the country for the next four years in the November general election. They will fight over whether .
So how did both candidates even out in Tuesday's primary?
Biden received 943,539 votes in Pennsylvania, 93.17% of the Democratic nomination, according to unofficial results.
Trump, on the other hand, received 791,003 votes, or 83.38% of the Republican nominee.
Trump's gains were taken by former candidate Nikki Haley, who remained on the ballot despite recently withdrawing from the presidential race. She received her 157,713 votes, or she received 16.62 percent.
Voters could only choose candidates based on party affiliation, but Tuesday's tally in Bucks County shows the second round of Biden vs. Trump could be quite close.
In Bucks County, Biden received 55,750 votes (94.91%). Mr. Trump received 49,055 votes (80.88%).
Voter turnout on Tuesday was 31.7%.
This was slightly higher than the statewide turnout (29%). The state's share was a significant decrease from the 41% of Pennsylvania voters who voted in the 2020 primary.
In the 2024 Pennsylvania primary, Mr. Biden received 335,000 fewer votes and Mr. Trump received 265,000 fewer votes.

After the 2020 presidential election, Trump's approval ratings declined in Bucks County.
Republican incumbent Trump lost the state in 2020, winning 27 of Bucks County's 54 municipalities. Trump won 34 municipalities in the county when he ran against Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016, according to a previous Patch article.
