West Palm Beach, Florida, May 7, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Small business owners are giving back. Cure Cocktail and Events, a mobile bar business, is raising awareness about responsible drinking through its latest project, “The Art of Drinking Responsibly'' collaboration project. The project is sponsored by The Duke & Dame, Kevin Hart's Gran Colamina Tequila, Riviera Beach Mayor Ronnie L. Felder, and The Colored Collection.
Harold Caudio, creative director of the project and founder of Colored Collection, has been working closely with Cure Cocktails and Events on CALL FOR ARTISTS. Selected South Florida artists will paint bottles for the “Paint the Bottle” fundraiser. The unique bottle painted by the artist will be sold in a silent auction at Riviera Beach Marina on May 13, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. with all proceeds going to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Cure Cocktails and Events was founded in 2020 during the pandemic, when restaurants and bars were closed and people were forced to practice social distancing. MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1980 by Candice Lightner after her 13-year-old daughter was killed by a drunk driver. MADD's mission is to prevent drunk driving and save lives. The organization is led by volunteers and has more than 400 chapters across the country.
Small businesses are the backbone of this country's economy, and National Small Business Month is a great time to shine a light on them.
