Travis Kelce's new Amazon Prime game show will feature some of Cincinnati's biggest names.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and former University of Cincinnati Bearcat announced in April that he will host “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” In the near future. The 20-episode series is a spin-off of the previous “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” A game show hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
A broadcast date has not yet been announced, but CBS Sports reports that the show will feature several famous classmates with ties to Greater Cincinnati. Some notable names include former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, former NFL and Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Cincinnati-born comedian Nikki Glazer.
Other stars scheduled to appear on “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” include comedians and actors Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches, reality TV stars Garcelle Beauvais and Lala Kent, and podcaster Sophia Leggero. They include Stallone and actor and producer Lilly Singh.
The series will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world and will be a twist on the original game show. Instead of children helping adult contestants, each episode brings a celebrity to the classroom who helps the contestants answer her 11 questions of entry-level trivia.

This may be Kelce's first time hosting a game show, but football players are no strangers to television.

Kelsey hosted “Saturday Night Live” in March 2023. He also co-hosts one of the top-charting sports podcasts, “New Heights,” with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. “New Heights” won the Podcast of the Year award at the iHeart Radio Podcast Awards in March.
