This week flew by, and we noticed quite a few noteworthy celebrity style moments along the way. Whether it was at an event in New York City or on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, celebrities weren't getting their fair share. Rather than play it safe, these people and their stylists decided to go for memorable designers and somewhat experimental pieces.
First, one of the moments that set the internet on fire all week was when icon Naomi Campbell appeared on the Cannes red carpet wearing a 1997 Chanel dress. Her brave move further cemented her status as a fashion giant. Teyana Taylor also appeared on the Cannes red carpet in a mod Roberto Cavalli outfit. Sabrina Elba also shined. She appeared on the carpet wearing a Fendi haute couture dress.
Kerry Washington looked flattering in the Brandon Maxwell gown she wore to the 2024 Disney Upfront event in New York. An even more aesthetically pleasing ensemble was Sheryl Lee Ralph's Bite His Studio look at the same event. Another contestant, Sanaa Lathan, was unusual in her all-white outfit, courtesy of Self Portrait.
Earlier this week, Bridgerton star Adwoa Andoh posed in a Safiyah dress at the world premiere of the series. Her co-star Simone Ashley sparkled in a glamorous silver Prada dress. Ashley's expression was curious.
