Natasha Pickens and her children are set to be the stars of a new TV show brought to life by fellow Opelousa native and award-winning filmmaker Cedric Savoy.as 337 Fishing Queen and Crew As he strived to grow his business, Savoy made movies in his hometown, signed a film and music distribution deal with Warner Brothers, and dedicated his life to the art of film.
After filming his latest project in Opelousas, Savoy said he was shown social media for the 337 Fishing Queen and crew.
“And I realized that she was doing everything wrong. So I reached out and said, “Listen, we have a plan that will benefit you and your children and benefit your community as well.'' ,” Savoy said.
Pickens said the hard work and personality of the 337 Fishing Queen and its crew, combined with the creativity of Savoy's production, has led to tremendous growth in the family's social media.
“Everything has really expanded so much, more people, multiple messages for me, inspiring other women, bringing their kids, it's been so helpful, everything. has grown significantly,” Pickens said.
With a growing audience and a new partnership, Savoy and the Pickens family are ready to launch their latest project, an all-new television show.
“This show aims to teach people the correct way to fish by following fishing guidelines and just having fun. And Natasha definitely has what it takes to show people that.” “Savoy said.
The series is set to begin filming in June, and Pickens said her journey from unemployment to fame with her family has been nothing short of a dream come true.
