Matteau said she and the girl's father had little interaction except when she was home during shifts. The former reality star said that during her interactions, the athlete became increasingly interested in her life and work as an aspiring performer.
“When I told him I was going to acting school, he said, ‘Oh, I should have thought of that. You’re so beautiful,’” she recalls. “I took the compliment in stride, but looking back now I see it was a red flag.”
