That night, Giuliani tweeted that the charges would have to be dropped “if Arizona authorities can't find me by tomorrow morning.” An hour after the post, officers saw him leaving the party and responded, Klingerman said.
“I'm not hiding from anybody,” Giuliani told the judge during Tuesday's hearing.
“I've received quite a few threats…Now that I'm bankrupt, I'm not safe anymore. So I have very specific rules,” Giuliani said, adding that in this apartment in New York, agents provide services. I explained why I couldn't do it.
Giuliani claimed that there were attempted assaults on him in France and the Netherlands, and said the cash bond “would be purely punitive.”
“I consider this indictment to be a complete disgrace to the American legal system. But I have shown no inclination whatsoever to disobey,” Giuliani said, adding that “a movement very similar to this one, viz. “It has been sued many times by the 'Let's see what we can do to destroy Donald Trump' movement,” he added. ”
Giuliani told the judge he didn't have a lawyer and claimed he could handle the arraignment himself “aside from the fact that I don't have a copy of the indictment,” and the judge reminded him that he could handle the arraignment himself. I offered to give them my email address before pressing the button. He was appearing in open court.
