Camila Cabello revealed who she lost her virginity to in a recent interview and recalled details of her first sexual experience, but her open personality has fans questioning the celebrity and her privacy.
While some celebrities like to keep their relationships and experiences private, the “I Luv It” singer opened up during an appearance on the show. Dax Shepard's Armchair ExpertPodcast.
The 27-year-old revealed she lost her virginity at the age of 20 and spoke about her past relationship with British relationship coach, author and content creator Matthew Hussey at the time.
“At that time, I had my first relationship. [Matthew’s] He had a podcast before…because he had a dating podcast. And he's married now, congratulations,” Cabello explained. “I was late for my first love. I was 20 years old.”
She went on to talk about what it was like the first time.
“That was the first time I had sex. I was 20, 21, the first time I made love. We literally made love. It was a beautiful experience.”

In the end, the two dated for just over a year from 2018 to 2019 before breaking up, and Hussey married his wife Audrey Le Strut in 2023.
Despite going their separate ways, Cabello had nothing but praise for Hussey, noting how much their relationship had a positive impact on her.
“He was such an amazing guy. It was like the perfect first relationship,” she said. “He wasn't even in my industry, so it really opened up my world.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, have you ever seen that? Anthony Bourdain: The unknown Have you ever seen a Studio Ghibli movie? ”
This sentiment seems to be shared by Hussey, who praised the former Fifth Harmony member in 2018, calling him “an amazing human being.”
Meanwhile, social media users had mixed reactions to Cabello's candid remarks.
One person said, “It makes me nostalgic for the days when celebrities had private lives (lol).''
“Yeah, I didn't want to know that. What happened to privacy? You don't have to share everything on the internet,” another wrote.
Another added: “There's nothing wrong with talking about sex men, calm down.”
“That's really lovely. Everyone's experience is different but I'm glad to hear hers was a positive one,” a fourth person commented.
