Celebrities with ties to Diddy, including Young Miami and Meek Mill, unfollowed Puff on Instagram
Ever since damning video footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016 spread like wildfire on the internet on Friday (May 17), rumors of connections to the disgraced hip-hop mogul have surfaced. It appears that a number of celebrities have unfollowed him on Instagram. That list also includes rappers like Young Miami and Meek Mill, as well as NBA player LeBron James. It's unclear if they even followed Puff in the first place, but after investigating by social media sleuths, the list of celebrities below are not interested in seeing what Diddy posts on this popular platform, at least for now. It has been found.
Young Miami is probably the most famous person who doesn't follow Diddy on both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). The City Girls rapper has been romantically involved with Diddy for the better part of the past two years. After a lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in March accused him of being a drug-delivery prostitute for Diddy, Young Miami adamantly refuted the claims. However, after a video of Puff assaulting Cassie recently surfaced, Careysha seems to have changed her attitude.
Fans have also noticed that Meek Mill, who has had a long-standing working relationship with Diddy throughout his career, has unfollowed Puff on Instagram. As recently as last month, Meek supported Diddy, tweeting, “I don't believe Diddy after he lied about me,” but now that Cassie's video has been released, the Philadelphia MC may feel obligated to dial back his support.

Why do celebs seem to distance themselves from Diddy?
Diddy's list of celebrities unfollowing him comes amid ongoing legal troubles and disturbing allegations surrounding the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. In the midst of ongoing sexual misconduct lawsuits filed by five individuals over the past few months, CNN broke the shocking news last Friday. The national news outlet released an extremely graphic video from 2016 that shows Diddy throwing Cassie to the floor in a Los Angeles hotel, kicking her twice, and dragging her by her shirt.
Diddy has since publicly apologized for the violence, saying his “unforgivable” actions were part of the “darkest times” of his life. The number of celebrities who have now distanced themselves from Diddy suggests that not many will be quick to accept his apology.
