What about Trump, the questionable golfer with a handicap of 2? The media claims that Biden is a truth teller compared to Trump. The Washington Postthe arrogant New Yorker made 30,573 false or misleading claims during his presidency, including 503 in a single day. Take those numbers with a pinch of salt, but you'd have to be drunk on MAGA Kool-Aid to think Trump is an honest person.
For example, Trump often claims that immigrants are pouring into the US from “prisons, jails, mental hospitals and psychiatric hospitals.” While some are certainly true, it's laughable to assert that this is the norm. Trump still believes he would have won the popular vote in the last election if it weren't for vote fraud by 3-5 million illegal immigrants. And during the primaries, it was really bold even for Trump to claim that here in Florida, our notoriously anti-COVID-restrictive governor, Ron DeSantis, is a lockdown hardliner who “closed all the beaches.”
I used to find some of Trump's bold ramblings amusing — after all, anyone who takes his words literally is a fool — but his verbose speeches of late have been downright boring. Every day outside the courtroom he basically says the same thing, giving 10 examples when one or two would have sufficed.
Most politicians are FOS to some degree. But Biden vs Trump represents the most prolific, incoherent, rambling duo in American history. You'd be better off listening to a drunk being dragged out of the pub on a Tuesday morning. Our sick two-party system has produced two candidates who can just throw a load of shit at us and see what sticks.
Maybe that's why you won't find any Trump or Biden signs anywhere in my neighborhood. Don't linger too long near the baboon cages, or you might get attacked.
