Pride Month has officially begun this year, and many of our favorite LGBTQ+ stars, including Jodie Foster, Laverne Cox, Elliot Page, and Neil Patrick Harris, may be celebrating the day. But while some of these stars have been celebrating for years, others have only recently come out to the world about who they really are.
For example, to kick off Pride Month, Bridgerton Lead actress Jessica Madsen, who plays Cressida Cowper on the show, caused a stir online when she opened up about her sexuality for the first time. “I'm in love with a woman and I'm loud and proud! ๐,” she wrote on Instagram.
Luckily, Madsen isn't the only star to come out as LGBTQ+ this year. From Sophia Bush to Rene Rapp, many of the celebs we know and love are embracing and sharing their true selves. Check out the stars who came out in 2024 below!

Her character may be crazy about finding a husband, but BridgertonJessica Madsen revealed that she is dating a woman in an Instagram post celebrating Pride Month 2024.
