Katy Perry is celebrating Pride Month with a little sass.
On Saturday, the pop star marked the first day of a month-long LGBTQ celebration with a video edit of NFL player Harrison Butker's recent graduation speech. The Kansas City Chiefs kicker caused controversy earlier this month with comments targeting the LGBTQ community and “dangerous gender ideology.”
In an edited video shared on Perry's Instagram, Butker's comments are spliced together to make it sound as if he is expressing support for the LGBTQ community.
“The future is bright, things are changing, society is transitioning and people of all ages are embracing diversity, equity and inclusion,” Butker says in the edited video. “Happy Pride Month everyone.”
The “Firework” singer ended his post with a message to his LGBTQ fans.

According to a video shared on social media on Saturday, Adele lashed out at a crowd member who yelled “Pride sucks!” during a show in Las Vegas.
In the video, the British pop singer initially appears surprised by the interrupter, but becomes angry when she realises what the interrupter has said.
“You came to my (expletive) show and told me Pride sucks?” an infuriated Adele asked. “Are you a (expletive) idiot?”
The crowd cheered after the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer told the “ridiculous” concertgoer, “You've got nothing nice to say, so just shut up, okay?”
