“I'm feeling more depressed right now than I've felt in years,” Applegate said during an episode of the “MeSsy” podcast. Jamie Lynn Sigler.
“It feels like a really bad depression, and it's a little scary, because it feels really fatalistic. I'm in a darkness right now that I haven't felt in years. I don't even know how long, but it's probably 20-something years.”

“I'm really scared that that dam door will open and I won't be able to stop it,” she said, vowing to check in with her therapist again by the end of the episode.
