Tokyo/Osaka Comic Con: A pop culture festival that has been held since 2016, offering a place for interaction with celebrities and artists, an exhibition of props used in movies, and interaction between cosplay enthusiasts. In the past, celebrities such as Chris Hemsworth and Orlando Bloom have gathered, and the second Osaka Comic Con 2024 was held over three days from May 3rd. This time, celebrities such as ambassador Takumi Saito, Norman Reedus, Tom Hiddleston, Daniel Logan, Mads Mikkelsen, and Christopher Lloyd participated. We bring you highlights from the grand finale held on the last day.

The first to appear were public relations ambassador NMB48 and event ambassador Takumi Saito.
Wakana Abe of NMB48, who serves as a public relations ambassador, looked back on the event and said, “I cosplayed as Robocop and was able to talk directly with Peter Weller on stage. I'm really happy to have been able to come to Comic-Con, where dreams come true.”
Ambassador Takumi also reflected on the event, saying, “My pedometer hit 15,000 steps. I had more fun than anyone else over these three days.”

Finally, the celebrities appear on stage! Highlights of each star's appearance
Tom Hiddleston: Smiling, raising her hand and making a heart with her fingers while waving.
Sophia Di Martino: Skip while waving your arms and dancing to the background music.
Norman ReedusThey excited the audience with double peace signs and applause.
Mads Mikkelsen: He gets the audience excited by giving big kisses with both hands and making finger hearts.
Thomas F. WilsonHolding the camera, he gives a thumbs up with one hand, smiles and bows.
Peter WellerEnter with open arms and a smile.
Temuera Morrison: Dance the Haka with all your might.
Daniel Logan: Dance happily and joyfully.
Jason MomoaHe smiled, raised his right hand, held two canned drinks in his left hand, and bowed to the participants and spectators.

Sophia Di Martino: “Thank you everyone for coming.” I'll definitely come to Japan again! “Thank you everyone for coming. I'll definitely come to Japan again! Thank you so much,” he declared enthusiastically in Japanese.
Tom Hiddleston“I had a really fun time in Osaka. Thank you so much. I love you all,” she said in Japanese, bowing deeply with a big smile.

Jason Momoa“It's been a long time since I've been here, so I'm very happy to be back. Thank you so much to everyone in Japan for welcoming us. Osaka, we love you. Aloha,” he said calmly, bowing.
Daniel Logan“Thank you, Osaka. I love you. See you at Tokyo Comic Con,” she said, entirely in Japanese.
Mads Mikkelsen“Thank you Osaka! Let's do it again. We love your country, your city, your people and especially your food. Thank you!” he said happily and bowed.
Norman Reedus“Thank you for being here. Beautiful country, people, food… (to a fan who shouted 'I love you!') Whoever said that, I love you too. Thank you so much. It's always fun to come out here and meet everybody and shake lots of hands. So, thank you so much,” he said, sending a finger heart.
Thomas F. Wilson“Thank you, Osaka. Goodbye, see you later. I love you. Thank you. From far away in California, America is one. Japan is one. But our hearts are one. We are all together. Thank you.”
Christopher LloydAs he was swarmed by Japanese-speaking celebrities, he jokingly said, “Oh, I don't want any trouble. Haha. It was such an eye-opener and such a joy to come here and see you all. I'll definitely come again. Blessings to you all. I love you. Bye.”
The applause and cheers continued while the celebrities were speaking.
It was also announced that Tokyo Comic Con 2024 will be held from December 6 to 8. Jason Momoa took pictures of the audience with his smartphone, and Peter Weller happily showed off the photos he had taken to the audience.
The stars crowded together for photos. “Come on, guys!” Mads said, motioning for the celebrities to gather around as he crouched forward. Norman slotted in next to NMB48 as if he were their newest member.

When the group photo was taken with the audience in the background, cheers of “Yay!” rang out from the entire venue. The performers interacted with the fans in their own way, waving their hands and making hearts with their fingers. Each time, cheers erupted from the venue. Osaka Comic Con 2024 came to a close with golden confetti falling.
The stars waved wistfully goodbye. Norman, Sophia and Thomas blew kisses. Tom and Mads kept blowing kisses, Tom made a heart with his fingers, and Thomas, who was last to leave, came back out again to blow kisses.
Thus, Japan's three-day pop culture festival came to a close in great success.
