Among the many people involved in making our stars look beautiful are hairstylists. Recently, celebrity hairstylist Maria spoke about her experience working with several stars. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kangana RanautMaria had only good things to say.
Maria is Aishwarya Rai Eric McGregor, who starred with her in the 2002 film “Devdas”, claimed the actress had a great personality.
Speaking to Bollywood Now, celebrity hairstylist Maria said, “I have only styled Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's hair for the song 'Silsila Ye Chahat Ka' from Devdas. I went to Greece and Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were there too. The staircase there was a bit strange, a bit dark. I was going up the stairs and they were going down. I was with Kangana for a shoot. I saw her (Aishwarya) but didn't say hello. I thought will she remember me amongst all the people. To my surprise, she recognised me and called me by my name. She said, 'Maria, why are you here?' and I replied, 'I'm with Kangana'. She is very kind and has such a great personality.”
Maria, who currently works primarily for Kangana Ranaut, opened up about the actor's personality and said that she is a “muffin” but sweet person.

Talking about actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, Maria said, “Kangana Ranaut is a very sweet person. Whenever we visit her house, she never lets us leave without food. She would always say, 'Sit down and eat first'. When we had shoots in the daytime, she would invite us over and cook us whatever we wanted. I would often tell her that I have to attend something in my home country and that my assistant would take care of it. She never threw a tantrum. She was always supportive and let me go. She is 'mufat' to many but has always been good to us. In fact, she took me to Himachal Pradesh to see her residence and also took me to her sister's wedding. She always praises me for any good work I do. I always call her on her birthday. She says, 'Maria, you will never forget me.'”
Kangana Ranaut was recently elected to the Indian Lok Sabha. On the work front, she is looking forward to the release of the film Emergency. She will also be seen in Sita: The Incarnation and a film with R Madhavan, her co-star in Tanu Weds Manu.
