MONROE — The Monroe School District has named 162 students in grades 5, 8 and 12 as Presidential Academic Achievement Award recipients and an additional 49 students in grades 5, 8 and 12 as Monroe Academic Achievement Award recipients.
The President's Academic Achievement Awards program recognizes students who have demonstrated a personal commitment to academic excellence. To receive this award, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in each grade of elementary, middle, and high school.
The Monroe Academic Achievement Awards Program recognizes students who demonstrate a personal commitment to excellence. To receive this award, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.30-3.49 in each grade level of elementary, middle, and high school.
