Any celebrity can be sexy, but only an elite handful can pull off the sexy look of a rat.
After the brief royal spring comes the hot summer, which makes a very particular bunch of celebrities, like “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White and “Saltburn” actor Barry Keoghan, the most desirable men on the internet.
The release of the tennis romance “The Challengers” in April has sparked a wave of Gen Z idolization for its stars, Mike Feist and Josh O'Connor, as some point out that the two are handsome but also bear a striking resemblance to the rodents, with Feist said to resemble cartoon rat Stuart Little and O'Connor to Roddy from “Flushed Away.”
It all led to one conclusion: men could look good and give off rat energy at the same time. And thus the “hot rat man” was born. Other terms like “hot rat boyfriend” and “hot rat summer” have also attached themselves to this truly unique time.
According to Dazed, who likely originated the term, comparing men to rats is a new version of comparing men to golden retrievers.

What is Hot Rodent Man?
Hot rodent men is the moniker given to male celebrities who are both attractive and vaguely rodent-like.
According to internet users, these men usually have upturned or angular faces, unkempt hair, sparkling eyes and drooping faces. Fans of this niche category would argue that the attractiveness of these celebrities comes from their rat-like qualities, not against them.
