The weather in New York is hitting its early summer peak, and I'm already sweating every time I step out of the air conditioning, so I think that's fine. This week, indie films took over local theaters at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, and the accompanying Chanel gala drew everyone from Kerry Washington to Greta Lee. Them's 2024 Now Awards brought together some of the biggest queer celebs, with our fashion news writer Danya Issawi presenting the Fashion Award to GmbH co-founder Benjamin Alexander Huseby. Nothing is more stylish than caring for humanity. This month, the first ever United Nations World Conference on Ocean Literacy took place in Venice. Prada Group and the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, which hosted the conference, have partnered since 2019 to develop educational programs aimed at raising awareness about ocean health and protection.
