Zac Efron Praise for his “High School Musical” co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale Amid their motherhood journeys — Vanessa is pregnant with their first child and Ashley became a mother in 2021 and is currently pregnant with their second — the actor revealed he remains friends with the pair, calling them “the best moms ever.”
In a new interview with Access Hollywood, the 36-year-old star was asked about his co-star and longtime friend, where he expressed his excitement and hinted at a family reunion soon. “Oh, they're going to be the best moms. Are you kidding me? Oh my God,” he told the magazine.
Zac added that he's excited to talk about Vanessa and Hudgens' journey as mothers, saying, “There will be some fun family reunions coming up.” Vanessa announced her pregnancy at the 2024 Academy Awards in March after marrying Cole Tucker in December 2023.
Meanwhile, Ashley announced her pregnancy with husband Christopher French in September 2020 and welcomed daughter Jupiter Iris French in March 2021. She also announced she was pregnant with her second child in March 2024.
The two mothers shared their joy at being pregnant at the same time. “I'm so excited for my daughter and this new chapter in her life,” Ashley said on Instagram. “So amazing!” As for Zac, he previously declared he was going to be a father in the future. “I need to grow up a little bit,” he told Ellen DeGeneres in May 2022.
Fans of the hit series will remember that Zac dated Vanessa while filming the series, and despite the fact that they broke up, they remain friends and have supported each other's professional careers ever since.
