FAIRBORN — A Fairborn business owner has had his truck and trailer stolen, leaving him with a tough decision: start over or call it quits.
Travis Sparks runs his own business, Sparky's Lawn Care and Mowing. Within minutes, his work truck was stolen, putting the future of his business in jeopardy.

Sparks said he was weeding his grandmother's backyard last Thursday when his blue 2000 Chevrolet truck was stolen.
“She came over and started yelling that someone got in my truck and drove off,” he recalled.
Reports say News Center 7 11:00Sparks said she tried to chase the thief in her grandmother's car but was unsuccessful.
“I went back and spoke with the Fairborn police,” he said.
He owns his own business and makes a living from it, and now he's not sure how he's going to keep it going.

“We're probably going to go out of business. We're probably going to have to give up because we can't recover at this point,” Sparks said.
He noted that starting over wouldn't be cheap.
“I've probably lost at least $15,000 to $20,000,” he said. “That's what I've saved up over the years.”
NEWS CENTER 7's Malik Patterson visited the Fairborn Police Department on Saturday to see if there are any leads, and police say they're still searching.
