Big names from all walks of life came together to watch Gervonta Davis score yet another spectacular knockout, this time against Frank Martin.
Gervonta Davis is the biggest hot prospect in boxing and after some time away from the ring, he finally went head to head with Frank Martin. Boxing experts going into the bout predicted Martin to be the biggest threat to Davis. At this point, it's not a big deal as he will be headlining the Tank Davis bout.
After Tank staggered Frank in the faceoff, many wondered if the moment was too much for Martin. But Frank held on when the bell rang and won the opening round on the scorecards. According to ESPN, Gervonta Davis showed little rust in his first fight since knocking out Ryan Garcia in April 2023.
Davis' hiatus began after he was sentenced to house arrest for a hit-and-run accident, but Davis violated it and served 44 days in a Baltimore prison. Martin was thrown into the shadows after a left punch a few minutes into the eighth round. Every celebrity in the entertainment world came out to watch Tank defend his WBA lightweight title.
DC Young Fly, DeMar DeRozan, Freddie Gibbs, Chase Young and John Wall were spotted backstage with Champ, and the floor was star-studded, including Rich Paul, Jayden Daniels, Kawhi Leonard, Ryan Garcia, Caleb Plant, Ezekiel Elliott, Dejounte Murray, 2 Chainz and the list goes on.
