Former Celtics players and celebrities watching Game 5 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden
According to a list released by the National Basketball Association (NBA), six former Boston Celtics players who won at least one title with the team are gathering at TD Garden to watch Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The list includes Eddie House and Leon Poe, members of the Celtics' 2008 championship team; M.L. Carr, who won two NBA championships with the Celtics in the 1980s and became the team's head coach and general manager in the 1990s; Mal Graham, who won two titles with the Celtics in the 1960s; Kevin Stacom, a member of Boston's 1976 championship team; and Jerry Sichting, who played on the 1986 championship team. Other former Celtics players gathering at the Garden to watch Game 5 include Boston native Dana Barros, who played parts of six seasons with the team, and Tacko Fall, a 7-foot-6 center who was a fan favorite during his two seasons with the organization. Jason Terry, who played eight seasons with Boston's NBA Finals opponent, the Dallas Mavericks, before playing one season with the Celtics, and Grant Williams, a member of the Celtics team that reached the 2022 NBA Finals, who played for the Mavericks earlier this season and was traded in February. Other professional athletes will also be at the venue to watch Game 5 between the Celtics and the Mavericks. That list includes New England Patriots rookie quarterback Drake May and teammate Ja'Waan Bentley, Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand and teammate Matt Grzelik. Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery is also watching the game. Two members of the New Kids on the Block, Boston natives Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre, will be at TD Garden for the big game. Michael Bivins, also a Boston native and founding member of New Edition and Bell Biv Devoe, will also be watching Game 5. The NBA announced that rappers Jack Harlow and Millies, who are from Cambridge, Massachusetts, will also be watching the game. Mercedes Monet, a professional wrestler who began her career in Boston, and television personality Maria Menounos will be at TD Garden to watch Game 5. Camille Kostek, a model, actress and television host, will also be in Boston for the game. New England Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski, who has been in a relationship with Kostek for nearly 10 years, is not among the celebrities confirmed by the NBA to watch the game. Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin will also be watching Game 5, according to the NBA.
