The mainstream media has finally gotten its wish and will hold a presidential debate, which is sure to set new viewership records.
The eyes of the world will be on the United States. Will this be a debate between fact and fiction? The DNC and Joe Biden are masters at manipulating the facts, blaming Donald Trump for the problems so Biden can get the credit for any achievements.
Honesty and integrity are not part of their political beliefs, so how does Trump respond to lies without sounding like a bully scolding his grandfather for lying?
How will Biden handle the harsh criticism of his leadership as president without telling new lies?
Will anything good come out of this debate, or will it be a political comedy?
If Trump thinks he can beat Biden, he is underestimating Biden, Barack Obama and the DNC. Unless they are willing to sacrifice Biden, they have a reason to have a Plan B.
There's something creepy about how this debate even happened: Why did Biden, who has cognitive problems, ultimately accept the offer?
Over the course of my career, I have learned that survey and poll questions can be crafted to ensure that the survey or poll results are exactly how you want them to be.
Will Trump and Biden have to answer the same questions, or will Biden be asked modified versions of Trump's questions?
Is the Democratic National Committee, which ran a successful ballot harvesting project in the 2020 election, planning a political smear campaign for Biden to pull on Trump, and turn MAGA supporters against him?
A legitimate debate requires an impartial moderator.
Does it exist on CNN?
When the DNC and the Republican National Committee negotiated the rules and regulations for the debate, did Trump's passion for the debate lead him and the RNC to accept regulations that favored Biden, such as a one-on-one, no Robert Kennedy, no audience, CNN moderating the format, and the ability to cut off Trump's microphone at any time?
By the time the first debate airs, the whole world will know the candidates' campaign pledges.
Will the debate be a clash of campaign promises, with Trump focusing on inflation, foreign affairs or Biden's open borders fiasco? Will Biden focus on January 6th, the hush money ruling and abortion, or will it simply be a clash of personalities?
They clearly have very different personalities: One is more of a street-fighting brawler and can be a bit too forceful at times.
And the other is a smooth-talking artist for whom truth and sincerity are not important.
I believe that to win an argument, you should never overestimate the strength of your position and never underestimate your opponent.
Will the Deep State and the DNC have a Plan B in place after the 2nd debate and before the DNC?
Will Biden remain their nominee?
Remember the words of Charles Dickins: “It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times,” which can easily be applied to the televised debates.
There will be endless debates about who was the worst and who was the best.
