Well, the countdown has begun for the first presidential debate. President Joe Biden and former President Trump will face off again this week to appeal to voters now that the election is just months away. On stage in Atlanta, the Biden campaign released a new memo that predicts two different visions for the future, and announced that they will hold 300 debate night watch parties and 1600 volunteer events in battleground states to make the choice and the opponent clear. Donald Trump is a convicted felon and the American people should take a moment to think about that. Anyone who wants to be president has to sit down with their probation officer before they can actually go to a debate. This is just a fact. Former President Trump has already hinted that he has made a big choice for his running mate. I look forward to your running mate. The choice in my heart. Yeah. Do they know? Nobody knows. North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is on the shortlist for running mate. He has a lot of great options. And I think the whole country probably knows my background, both successful in business and successful in the executive branch as governor. Reporter. Today is the second anniversary of the Dobbs decision that ended the nation's right to abortion. The First Lady campaigned on Sunday, arguing that reproductive rights are crucial for women.
