SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco Police announced the arrest of two people Sunday in connection to an armed robbery of a San Francisco business. The robbery allegedly occurred the night of June 21st.
That night around 9:30 p.m., San Francisco Police responded to the damaged store in the 1200 block of Valencia Street. Police discovered a man had attempted to leave the store with stolen items and had brandished a handgun at employees who tried to stop him.
He then left the store and fled in a vehicle driven by a female suspect. Police obtained a photograph of the suspect, who they identified as 19-year-old Fabian Gonzalez VanConner.
Gonzalez-Vanconner was seen getting into a vehicle on Sunday near the 1400 block of Flounder Court. The suspect was arrested at the scene and officers seized a loaded gun.
A woman was in the car at the time and was also arrested. San Francisco police identified her as 19-year-old Ana Reyes.
San Francisco police executed a search warrant at Gonzalez-VanConner's home and seized an assault rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition and other firearms-related items.
Gonzalez-Vanconer was booked into jail on charges of armed robbery, possession of a firearm and conspiracy, while Reyes was arrested on charges of firearm violations and conspiracy.
