Mr. Jackson – Mississippi Public Broadcasting has announced that it will televise the 2024 presidential debate on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 8:00 pm CST.
The presidential debate will also be streamed on mpbonline.org, the MPBSmart TV app and the MPB Public Media app, providing viewers with comprehensive coverage and expert analysis. NPR Failed to secure radio rights to broadcast the presidential debate on NPR affiliatesAs a result, MPB will not broadcast the debate on its radio network.
While the absence of NPR radio coverage may be unexpected for some, MPB is committed to ensuring the public can tune in to this important event. Mississippi Public Broadcasting remains committed to providing high-quality news and public affairs programming to our audience.
